This was a very special night, for The Monkees played an enormous part in my musical youth, much like they are presently doing in my daughters. Needless to say this was a very momentous and emotional occasion for both of us.

I met Larry a few years ago in Houston, Tx. and became an immediate devoted fan. After several road trips to see him we actually have become pretty good friends. Larry is a helluva nice guy and incredibly funny!! And to top it off he is a big Vertical Smile Fan!! So whatever you do don't miss Larry when he comes to your town. Everything I said about his brother Peter can be said about Jim. Aside from being a wonderful spirt, Jim is also one of the most gifted bass players and engineers that I know. Scott and I had the pleasure of having Jim produce our first A1A CD back in 1998.
Peter and Jim are best known for being in Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer band since 1989.
