It takes a tough skin to make it in the music industry. Strong unbendable persistence and flexibility in the face of adversity, tough times and bad luck has to be in your DNA if you want to stand a chance at the brass ring. Gary Shea was a driving force behind two amazingly talented and incredible classic rock bands, New England and Alcatrazz. Gary has had his share of rock and roll stardom and the lows that accompany it. But his undying love for rock and roll kept him going when others would have quit. I grew up on the music of New England and Alcatrazz. Gary was one of my rock and rolll heroes. It is a pleasure and an honor to now call him a good friend. His story is real and inspiring and one well worth reading. I encourage you to check it out. It is a very inspiring read and a must have for any real rock and roll fan.
