50 Years Ago - Gino Vannelli at The Fox Theater in Atlanta, Georgia. On October 9th and 10th, 1976, Gino Vannelli performed two legendary shows at The Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, while on tour promoting his epic masterpiece, ‘The Gist Of The Gemini.’ I was in the 10th grade and was unable to attend. Did any of my Atlanta friends attend? If so, please share your memories and any pictures you may have! - Jeff www.ginov.com

8 years ago today you have been gone, so many times it seems like yesterday, and many others, well, an eternity since we saw your smile, felt your hug and I heard, "I love you Mom". I continue to uphold my last promise and commitment to you at the University of Iowa Hospital, that I would do everything I could to help other families not lose their "Eric", and other "Eric's" would have more choices and resources to continue living life beyond the rough spots. For 6 of those 8 years, we continued to grow and refine Mullen's Miracles Your love for the outdoors continues to inspire me. I will always see it in your face, especially in trail photos - a sense of peace and possibility. Out there, you always breathed easier, smiled bigger, your light shined brighter, and freedom surrounded you. Allowing you freedom from anxiety and everything that weighed you down. This year, we have chosen to celebrate your life by enhancing our mission, by launching the ERIC MULLEN LEGACY FUND, our way of keeping your light near and shining brightly for others to benefit from your life. Yes, you still matter, and so will your everlasting love. We pray that this fund will continue to carry your spirit forward, one of gentleness, hope, adventure, and a sense of wonder. If it helps even one person feel less alone, more seen, more supported, and more loved, then we'll know your legacy remains at work. Your signs, especially all the hearts you have sent me, warm my heart, knowing you are not too far away. Our goal is to raise $10,000 during the month of October, which just happened to be one of Eric's (and our families') favorite months. ERIC MULLEN LEGACY FUND will live on beyond this month as the first Legacy Fund established through Mullen's Miracles. Eric's life and legacy are already helping create opportunities for others to find connection, hope, resources, and support. We envision a growing community of Legacy Funds, each carrying the name and story of someone whose life has touched others. Eric is only the beginning. Eric is Forever 26 - so if you would like to make a donation of $26, or $260, or really any amount, in Eric's memory, we would be greatly honored. Support Eric's Legacy Fund however it fits best for you. Sharing a story about Eric in the comments, sharing this page with friends, supporting Mullen's Miracles overall mission of providing hope. The money donated to ERIC MULLEN LEGACY FUND will be used to support new programs and continued growth of existing ones. This month, you will be hearing more from me about Eric and what we are doing to make a difference with suicide. All of my love, Mom Kathy Mullen SEPTEMBER 27, 2026

Because Of You Every life is sacred, and the gift of life, in any form, is the most cherished gift one can give or receive. ‘Because Of You’ is a heartwarming and breathtaking song and video about the gift of life as received through organ donation. Both the music and video profoundly express the selflessness and heavenly gift of organ donation through a song and video of tremendous beauty. https://youtu.be/9OwuYbKb6KY?is=sqEnYhKnx27I6JgB September is National Suicide Prevention Month. The legendary Jim Croce passed away 53 years ago today in a tragic plane crash at only 30 years old. His music was a major influence on me when I first started playing guitar in the early 70s at the ripe old age of 10, and I have remained close to it throughout my life. Many may not know this, but Gino Vannelli wrote and recorded a tribute to him, which he released on his 1974 album ‘Powerful People.’ Today seemed the perfect day to share this beautiful tribute. SEPTEMBER 16, 2026 - WE GO ON SEPTEMBER IS NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION MONTH Yesterday, I shared my feelings about the state of our nation 25 years on after the historical tragedy of 9-11. Along with them, I shared a song from my latest album, ‘I Die A Little More Each Day,’ which I felt resonated with my post, my feelings, and of course, the state of our country. Today, I still have 9-11 on my mind. As I previously stated, September is National Suicide Prevention Month; I have been thinking, and praying this morning, about those tragically unfortunate people who were trapped at the top of the Trade Center buildings, who, when the fires were closing in and all hope for safe passage down the stairs and rescue were gone, had to make the unimaginable decision to stay put and burn to death, or willingly jump over 100 stories to their death. The more I dwell on this, the more disturbed and unsettled I become, both in my soul and my body. No matter how hard I try, I cannot imagine being in that situation with only seconds to make a decision—a decision to willingly commit an unspeakable act of suicide that I did not want to commit. I cannot imagine in a lifetime the undeserved fear and pain they were feeling. Unfortunately, it appears that America is not going in the right direction. 25 years on, we are certainly a much more divided, angry country, and still under serious attack, both at home and abroad. Suicide rates have increased drastically, affecting all age groups, even children. Turning these stats around is a seriously tall order, but we have to try. We have to turn the mental health problems in our country around if we are to go on and thrive as a nation. I am a musician, so I communicate best in song. In January of 2026, I, along with Ross Vannelli, Kathy Mullen, and Chris Blackwell, released an album of original songs to help, heal, and deliver strength and hope in difficult times. The album is called ‘Live Like There’s No Tomorrow,’ and our first single and music video we released, which is so very poignant at this time, is called ‘We Go On.’ I want to encourage you to listen and watch, and, if it moves you, please share it. We all need the help, hope, and courage to go on. Still lightly reeling from the wake of the 25th anniversary of the unfathomable tragedy of September 11, 2001, and looking at the state of our nation today, it seems to me that we are in a much worse state of emergency now than we were on September 10, 2001. We are certainly a more divided, angry country, and while there is still a lot of good being done, we are cracking at the seams, and I wonder what will be the glue to hold us together, assuming there is one? But having said that, as difficult as it may be for some, we must not lose our compassion, empathy, and hope. Only with them in our hearts can we find the strength they provide to help turn our country around. We must keep our eyes open to the evil in the world, but we must not let it invade our hearts and define us. - Jeff Pike - I Die A Little More Each Day Produced by Gino Vannelli Available on all Streaming Platforms __________________________________ September 11, 2026
'All They Wanted To Say' - Gilbert O'Sullivan A Tribute To Those We Lost on 9-11 This song cuts through every boundary we invent — nations, beliefs, histories — and goes straight to the one truth that belongs to all of us: when people face the unthinkable, the last thing they reach for is love. Not ideology, not anger, not identity. Just the simple human instinct to say “I love you” while there’s still time. It’s a reminder that behind every headline and every act of violence are ordinary people who never wanted to be part of any of it. Their final words weren’t political statements — they were the same words any of us would say if everything suddenly fell away. This piece holds that truth gently, and it speaks to everyone, everywhere. Please watch this today - and have a box of Kleenex nearby. REVIEW
JEFF PIKE - RIGHT WHERE I AM “ ‘Right Where I Am’ represents a monumental achievement. Jeff’s vocal artistry and interpretation of this classic collection of Gino Vannelli compositions is flawless. And, the musicianship and high production values provided by Mr. Vannelli truly make this a masterpiece. Congratulations, Jeff, Gino and Ross Vannelli for a job well done!” Tommy J. Landers Producer/Director PR MediaWorks “ The goal from the start was to make a high-level work of art that would stand the test of time. A musical work that not only reflected where Gino was in life, but also where I was. I feel it was no coincidence that our musical souls were on the same path. I hope you will find the time to relax, turn the lights down, light a candle, and experience 'Right Where I Am' as it was meant to be experienced.
