"Music soothes the soul and brings people together. In times of isolation and in times of prosperity humanity needs the universal healing and comforting power of music. As a singer, entertainer and a songwriter I have devoted my life to feeling and channeling the deep emotions of classic songs and being vulnerable and transparent in the songs that I write and perform." - Jeff Pike
Jeff Pike is an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, keyboardist, songwriter and seasoned entertainer from Atlanta, Georgia. For over three decades, audiences have been taken in by Jeff's warm personality, his improvisational skills as an entertainer, the diversity, honesty, and intimacy of his voice, and the wide variety of music which he performs.
Be it through his own compositions or the words and music of others, entertaining and connecting deeply with an audience is Jeff’s passion and his gift. Jeff has received nods in comparison to recording artists such as Jason Mraz, Kenny Loggins, Dan Fogelberg, Jimmy Buffett, John Denver, David Gates, Gino Vannelli and Christopher Cross. Let us go back....
Atlanta native Jeff Pike has been a working musician and entertainer all his professional life. He was singing at a very young age and studying guitar by the age of 10. Through his formidable years in high school and college, Jeff studied and majored in voice, with minors in piano and musical theater. Furthering his education as his career progressed, Jeff studied keyboard/synthesizer production, programming, and Pro Tools audio engineering at Berklee College of Music.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Jeff was one of the first Atlanta entertainers to heavily integrate extensive keyboard, drum programming, and sequencing into his successful live solo performances. His energetic onstage presence and vast repertoire of songs spanning many decades made him one of Atlanta's top solo entertainers.
Since 1992, through the music and fan base of Jimmy Buffett and their own original Trop Rock Music, Jeff has had continuous success with his band A1A – The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show.
Jeff and A1A have performed with Jimmy Buffett and Mac McAnally and The Coral Reefer Band in concert and were featured in the 2012 Major Motion Picture, “What To Expect When You’re Expecting.” A1A also had a song on the movie soundtrack, which was released on Capitol Records. Jeff was in Jimmy’s MTV video, “Fruitcakes.” His performance with Jimmy and his band of “Cheeseburger In Paradise,” which was included in the limited edition” Barometer Soup Radio Special” CD, still receives regular rotation on Jimmy Buffett’s ‘Radio Margaritaville’ station on SiriusXM radio. In 2016, Jimmy Buffett and Mac McAnally hired A1A as their backing band at a private concert at The Augusta Nationals in Augusta, Georgia. A1A’s list of accomplishments is long. A1A was one of the very first successful tribute shows long before tribute shows were even close to being the norm. They are also quite possibly the longest-running successful tribute show to date. In 1991, Jeff released his first CD of all original material, 'Waiting For The Fire.' The release of 'Waiting For The Fire' came at the onset of A1A's initial success, which unfortunately placed his solo recording career on the back burner for several years.
A1A released their first CD in 1999 entitled, 'A1A Live.' Jimmy Buffett's harmonica player, Greg 'Fingers' Taylor, joined the band for three songs, and the CD proved very successful with Jimmy Buffett fans.
Later in 1999, local Atlanta singer/songwriter Michael Eagleson released his first CD, 'Don't Wait Up.' Jeff produced, engineered, mixed, and provided all of the album's electric guitar and drum programming.

A1A released their sophomore album in 2000 entitled 'Live at Hemingway's. Recorded on February 5, 2000, to a packed house of frenzied A1A fans, 'Live at Hemingway's is another excellent representation of what brought A1A to their initial success.
2001 brought Jeff's first live and most popular recording to date, 'Live at The Red Light Cafe.'
2001 also saw the release of Vertical Smile's second and final CD, 'Live at The Keys.' This hilarious CD was recorded live at 'The Keys Bar and Grill' in Montgomery, Alabama.
Jeff teamed up again in 2002 with Michael Eagleson to produce his sophomore CD, 'Bipolar Bear.' Again, Jeff produced, engineered, mixed, and provided all of the album's electric guitar and drum programming.
A1A released their second CD, 'Ship Happens!!' in 2003. 'Ship Happens!!' was the band's first CD of all original music, written as a cruise ship concept album for The Atlanta Parrot Head Club 2003 Cruise. It proved to be very successful among Jimmy Buffett and Trop Rock music fans.
In January 2007, Jeff and his lifelong friend, Ken Mercer released, 'Out of The Hole.' 'Out of The Hole' is an inspirational, transparent, and honest account of addiction and recovery. A CD that has saved many lives since it was first conceived in 1996.
