Right Where I Am and My Dad It has been a little over a week since my Dad passed and two weeks since my new single, Right Where I Am, was released, the first single from my work with Gino Vannelli and the pinnacle project of my career so far. My heart is broken in knowing that Dad will never hear and see the entire project, but I am blessed to have had him hear ‘Right Where I Am’ and see the music video. The lyric is ironically even more personal now than it already was. My goal now is to get this project heard by as many people as possible in my Dad's honor, and I could use your help.  Fred Hampton Pike - August 8, 1934 - February 15, 2023
With deep sadness and a heavy heart, I announce that "Papa" Fred Pike passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. He was 88 years old. There will be a memorial service and celebration of life on Saturday, March 4, at The American Legion, Post 201, from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm. Lunch will be served, and there will be an open bar. Drinks will be on Fred, per his request. Everyone is invited and encouraged to get up and share their memories, love, laughter, and stories. He wanted it no other way. You may send flowers to the American Legion for the service or donate to one of Fred's Charities, the American Legion Post 201, or Mullen's Miracles (www.mullensmiracles.org) If you have any photos of Fred, please email them to me at [email protected]. This is an extremely difficult time for our family, and we have much to do, so please understand that I will not be able to respond to everyone's messages, posts, and phone calls.
