Losing my Dad brought my life and my career to an abrupt halt. God is good. My reboot starts tomorrow. Stay tuned..
Good Afternoon friends. It is a beautiful sunny Easter Sunday in Georgia, and my heart is filled with gratitude, memories, and love on this day on which we celebrate life and resurrection. I took this video on March 27, 2023, and have been holding it for today, for I could not think of a better opportunity to share this glorious performance of a timeless piece of music with you. Happy Easter to you and your family.
Much love to everyone. - Jeff

August 8, 1934 - February 15, 2023
One month ago today, my brother and I lost our Father. All of my life, I had frighteningly wondered how life would be when this time finally came. I cannot believe it has been a month. The days between then and now have been a blur, and honestly, I can barely remember what I did yesterday. But Dad's passing seems more like a few days ago than a month. The pain is still sharp, deep, and fresh, so I will keep this short.
I haven't enough complimentary words to thank Kathy Mullen for all she has done for my Father and our family over the past eight years since my Father had his stroke and his slow decline started. She, above everybody else, took care of my Dad in every way until his last breath. We all agree that this day would have come much sooner if it had not been for her.
My deepest heartfelt feelings and thanks are extended to Kathy Mullen, Joy Davis, and the entire staff at Legacy Ridge Assisted Living Facility in Alpharetta for helping to give my Dad a beautiful and loving new home since August of 2021.
I sincerely and deeply thank Kathy Mullen, Jami Tack from Snell- Zoring Funeral Home, Linda Terrana, Lt. Colonel Jason Pike, Bob Byrd, and everyone at The American Legion Post 201 in Alpharetta, Georgia for helping plan Dad's memorial service and celebration of life the way he wanted us too. It took all of the seventeen days we had, and we were still working until the minute it started. Thankfully everything went beautifully.
To everyone who took time out of their lives to pay their respects and help us celebrate my Dad's life, I cannot thank you enough. Some came from out of state and traveled many miles. I do believe my Dad would have enjoyed the celebration we put on for him.
My Dad was an astute philosopher and a very educated man, and one of his favorite sayings was Carpe Diem -Seize the Day.
Life seems long when you are young, and then when you get older, you wonder where it all went and how it disappeared so incredibly fast. Everything looks different. My Dad loved life and wanted my brother and me to love and live ours to the fullest. Life looks so very different today, and my hourglass looks way more than half empty, so I guess I better get movin'....
Much love and happiness to everyone,
I sincerely thank everyone for the many calls, messages, emails, and posts about my Dad's passing. They have all touched my heart and have helped ease some pain. Please take a few minutes and read about my Dad's life, and if you can make it, all are welcome at his Celebration of Life this Saturday, March 4—details in the obituary. Just click on the picture of Dad below.
Love to you all - Jeff

Right Where I Am and My Dad
It has been a little over a week since my Dad passed and two weeks since my new single, Right Where I Am, was released, the first single from my work with Gino Vannelli and the pinnacle project of my career so far. My heart is broken in knowing that Dad will never hear and see the entire project, but I am blessed to have had him hear ‘Right Where I Am’ and see the music video. The lyric is ironically even more personal now than it already was. My goal now is to get this project heard by as many people as possible in my Dad's honor, and I could use your help.
If you could listen to Right Where I Am in its entirety on Spotify and click the follow button, it would go a long way in getting this single and project off the ground. I deeply appreciate your help, and I thank all of you for the prayers and beautiful comments about my Dad.

Fred Hampton Pike - August 8, 1934 - February 15, 2023
With deep sadness and a heavy heart, I announce that "Papa" Fred Pike passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023. He was 88 years old.
There will be a memorial service and celebration of life on Saturday, March 4, at The American Legion, Post 201, from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm.
Lunch will be served, and there will be an open bar. Drinks will be on Fred, per his request. Everyone is invited and encouraged to get up and share their memories, love, laughter, and stories. He wanted it no other way.
You may send flowers to the American Legion for the service or donate to one of Fred's Charities, the American Legion Post 201, or Mullen's Miracles (www.mullensmiracles.org)
If you have any photos of Fred, please email them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This is an extremely difficult time for our family, and we have much to do, so please understand that I will not be able to respond to everyone's messages, posts, and phone calls. Thank you kindly for your understanding.
I hope all of you who loved my Father will join us on March 4 at The American Legion, Post 201, from 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm.
